A small rectangular occasional table, the well-figured, single piece elm top of exceptionally good colour and patina, standing on well-drawn, baluster legs joined by square-section, scratch-moulded stretchers.
This little table has survived three centuries in remarkably original structural condition save for slight losses to the feet and, during those years has benefitted from generations of waxing and use which have produced a sublime surface and colour.
