Rare Georgian Rush Seat Stool from Cardiganshire

A rare, early to mid 18th century, Welsh stool, the square, rush seat above four, ring and baluster-turned, ash legs joined by channel-moulded, oak stretchers. The colour and patina are excellent. The original rope seat replaced with rush. Cardiganshire, circa 1720-1750.

Dimensions:

36 cms square, 32 cms high.
