Superbly Patinated Welsh Oak Coffor Bach

£0.00
Sold

The restrained design of this little coffer, devoid of decoration save for a shallow scratch moulding defining the edge of the lid and drawer front, is very appealing. The feature that distinguishes it from so many others of similar design though, is the exceptional surface, an intense depth of colour with a rich patina.
Circa 1800-1820.
Minor repair to one rear foot and replaced drawer handles.

Dimensions:

61 cms wide, 29 cms deep, 37 cms high
