Diminutive size and unusual drawer arrangement lend this piece immediate appeal and great charm. Made from attractively figured native oak and of waisted form, the coffer has a single piece lid above four, scratch-moulded panels and three little drawers, on shaped bracket feet. The handles are original, the escutcheons are later but in appropriate style.
