Welsh Oak Chest of Drawers

A substantial early 18th century chest, made from very closely grained, dense oak, the side-hung drawers applied with swan neck handles, long ago replacing drop handles, the surrounding frame applied with a simple moulding of D-shaped profile. Typically, the sides are panelled. Circa 1720.
