A fine example of a Welsh cricket table of classic, generously splayed, triangular form, in wonderful condition.
The softly patinated twin plank sycamore top, with three sets of pegs for biscuit tenons, sits on an ash and pine base which retains a crusty paint/varnish layer, worn through on all the highlights to reveal smooth and richly patinated timber.
Llanddeusant, Carmarthenshire, circa 1800-1820.
